About Skye
I am a passionate Guitar tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college students, and adults who want to learn guitar in a clear and enjoyable way. Over the past few years, I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping many beginners develop confidence and musical skills.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and consistent practice. I believe that anyone can learn guitar when lessons are explained in a simple and supportive way. I always try to create a comfortable environment where students feel motivated to learn and improve.
In my lessons, I focus on important fundamentals such as basic chords, chord transitions, rhythm practice, strumming patterns, and finger exercises. These skills help students build a strong foundation in guitar playing.
I also encourage students to learn songs they enjoy, because playing music they like keeps them motivated and makes learning more interesting. Each lesson is designed to help students see steady improvement.
Teaching hundreds of students has helped me understand how different learners progress. Some students learn quickly through practice, while others need more guidance. I always adjust my teaching style to support each student.
Many of my students have become confident enough to perform at school programmes, college events, and personal gatherings.
My goal is to help students develop guitar skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for music.

My teaching style focuses on flexibility, communication, and understanding each student’s learning style. I believe every student learns music in a different way, so I adapt my lessons according to their needs and learning pace.
Students start by learning the fundamental Guitar techniques such as chord shapes, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, and scale practice. These basics help build a strong foundation for further learning.
To make lessons more meaningful, I use real-life examples from songs and musical performances. Students can see how Guitar techniques are used in real situations.
In addition to Guitar lessons, I also teach related subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm practice, improvisation basics, and songwriting fundamentals. These areas support the student’s overall musical development.
My aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated to improve their Guitar skills.
