He was my instructor for C , C++ and data structures for 3 semesters. I never coded before and had no experience with any programming language before attending his classes. So he made sure that he teaches everything from ground zero which helped me a lot and I actually got a job just after my 2nd year in college and that wouldn't have happened without him and his lectures.
