In this lesson, we will start by diving into the essentials of CSS, focusing on fundamental styling techniques and layout principles. We’ll cover topics such as the box model, flexbox, and grid layout, providing practical exercises to help students apply these concepts to real-world web design projects. By the end of this section, students will have a strong foundation in CSS that they can use to enhance the appearance of their web pages.
Next, we will explore WordPress, covering both basic and advanced features of this popular content management system. Students will learn how to set up and customize WordPress sites, manage themes and plugins, and create dynamic content. We’ll focus on practical skills such as building and managing a WordPress site from scratch, optimizing it for performance and security, and integrating various plugins to extend functionality. Through hands-on projects, students will gain experience in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing websites using WordPress.
Following our work with WordPress, we will shift to Node.js and frontend development. We will cover the basics of server-side scripting with Node.js, including setting up a server, handling routes, and working with databases. Students will learn how to build interactive web applications and integrate them with frontend technologies. We’ll discuss best practices for developing and deploying Node.js applications, providing practical examples and coding exercises to reinforce these concepts.
