About Garima
I'm a self-taught artist with a deep love for watercolor, especially the Waldorf-style wet-on-wet technique. Over several years of teaching art to children in a school setting, I've also trained other teachers in art — so I understand both how children learn to create, and how to help adults teach it well.
My classes are relaxed and paced to each student's age, because I believe painting should feel calm, fun, and genuinely creative — not just an exercise in copying a picture. I focus on helping students build a real relationship with color and form, so their confidence comes from understanding, not imitation.

Learn watercolor the creative way — wet paper, flowing color, and space to explore freely, while still finding a way through it to create form. It's about noticing how colors move and blend, and building real comfort with a brush.
It begins simply, watching color move across wet paper with no fixed goal — just observation. Then a second color joins in, and something new happens where they meet: two colors finding a friend in the blend between them. As that feels more natural, the flow becomes something to compose within, placing color thoughtfully rather than randomly. And eventually, form begins to emerge from within that flow itself — a flower, a hill, a figure — arising naturally from color and movement, rather than being outlined and filled in first.
Great for complete beginners, or kids who love art!
