About Mabel
I am a passionate Saxophone tutor with 9 years of experience, having guided approximately 150 students across different learning stages. I enjoy helping students build musical confidence through careful and thoughtful training.
My tutoring style is careful, patient, and confidence-focused. I introduce techniques slowly, ensuring students feel comfortable and secure before moving forward. Lessons focus on tone development, breath control, finger accuracy, rhythm practice, and musical expression.
I also help students understand how to listen to their own playing and make improvements independently. Clear practice guidance ensures steady growth.
My unique strength is my ability to help students gain confidence naturally, without pressure. My goal is to help students play the saxophone with ease, control, and enjoyment.

My saxophone teaching methodology is rooted in adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I understand that every student learns in their own unique way, so I tailor lessons to individual learning styles—whether through demonstration, listening, or hands-on practice.
Flexibility is central to my approach. Lessons are adjusted according to student progress, goals, and interests, keeping learning productive, engaging, and inspiring. Collaboration encourages students to actively participate in shaping their learning journey, experiment with improvisation, and share creative ideas, fostering both confidence and skill.
I maintain a positive and supportive environment where achievements are celebrated and challenges are treated as opportunities to grow. Lessons cover saxophone techniques, improvisation, performance skills, musical interpretation, and theory to provide a complete musical foundation.
In addition to saxophone, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and ensemble performance. My aim is to develop expressive, confident musicians with a lifelong love for music.
