In a Literature lesson I would take the student through their book/poems and analyse the text inputting both my ideas and sparking theirs. I would also go through the steps on writing an essay and what it needs to include. By looking at past questions and essays the student should get a better understanding on how to approach an essay. I would also ensure a lesson on the basics of "SPAG" (Spelling, punctuation and grammar).

As a former school friend of Emily's I highly recommend her as an English tutor as she always excelled and engaged in lessons. She helped me often with analysing texts so anyone looking to enhance their analytical skills should definitely choose Emily as your tutor.
