About Andrea

Since my studying in Linguistics began, I have found teaching from a linguistics perspective improves students' understanding of the language they are learning. Not only they learn faster, but they understand what they are being taught rather than only memorising the grammar, or sounds.

About the lesson

To improve English pronunciation and comprehension, we will take it from a phonetic and phonologic approach. Although this might sound too specific and difficult, learning the International Phonetic Alphabet for English will result in a full understanding and immersion into English pronunciation. What's more, you will learn new things about your language pronunciation that you did not know before. It will be a process involving hard work but your pronunciation will get better at a faster pace and in better quality.
