I had the privilege of working with Ms. Darla in preparation for my PRAXIS Reading and Writing tests. She is very kind and knowledgeable about how to become a better reader and writer. She has an intuition for what makes good writing and will help you develop and hone your own writing and critical reading skills. Because of our tutoring sessions, I was not only able to gauge my reading and writing levels, but I was also able to gain confidence and the tools necessary to do well on my PRAXIS reading and writing exams. Studying for these tests were made infinitely easier because of the mentorship of Ms. Darla. I am happy to say that I passed both tests with flying colors. For anyone who needs an english mentor/teacher to guide them through the process of writing or reading on any level, I highly recommend Ms. Darla to be your tutor.

After working with Darla, I was finally able to pass my Praxis exam for educators. Darla used various techniques to challenge me in writing and early childhood, which helped me to really understand what I needed to work on the most. I have to say that I dislike studying material that is given to me. However, the material Darla presented to me was so refreshing and easy to digest. I recommend Darla’s services, and I am so happy I had the opportunity to learn from her. 

Darla gave me a starting assessment to calculate my areas of need in order to pass my praxis exam. She was flexible and adapted to my learning style perfectly. She was able to discuss content areas I needed more clarification on. I had two tutors before Darla and I did not pass my praxis exams until I started spending my tutoring hours with Darla. She is amazing!
