About Medini
Hi There! My name is Medini and I'm a voice teacher. I've been teaching for nearly a decade, in multiple languages, across dozens of genres, to students on three different continents. I'm a Vocal Process Registered Teacher and affiliated with NATS. Outside of that I have an MA in Gender Studies. There's a line that's always stuck with me when thinking of any kind of education - do no harm. I take that very seriously. So the biggest priority of my classes is to make sure that irrespective of level or age of the student, this is a safe space - to be yourself, to express yourself. Other random facts about me - I'm very nerdy, super into Doctor Who, Queer, I love all music, and my Piano's name is Wanda.

I want this to be a safe space. Where you'll learn and be challenged but also have fun and feel comfortable expressing yourself. As a Vocal Process Registered Teacher my teaching practices generally line up with theirs. I believe singing teaching should be developed upon science-based vocal pedagogy. Client Led. Queer Friendly and Gender Affirming. Multi-Language. Multi-Genre. Truthfully, I can't think of a "teaching methodology" or "technique" to write down as the prompt requires because it depends on the needs of the client in front of me. So all I can say is - I'm really good at my job. And I'll get you where you need to go. I've been teaching internationally for nearly a decade, everyone from beginners to professionals/aspiring professionals, in multiple different languages and genres. I'm a Vocal Process Accredited teacher with affiliations to NATS. I've also taught various Trinity and ABRSM grades to those who want that. A typical class I teach is 45min-1 hour. Currently I'm open to teaching all levels and age groups.
