About Charlena
Belting technique, diction and articulation, and exam preparation form the core of my teaching practice. I focus on clear communication. With a BFA in Musical Theatre and 13 years of performing across national tours and off-Broadway, I understand the strain of the stage.
My work often centers on vocal health and care for those rebuilding after injury. I collaborate with SLPs to ensure safe practice while covering breathing control, stage fear management, and tone resonance. I invite you to reach out if you need guidance.

You will start by assessing your current vocal habits during our first 60 minute meeting. Understanding your personal instrument is critical for longevity.
We will analyze your warm up exercises and establish a routine that maintains your stamina through 8 shows a week. Developing consistency is the primary goal of our time together.
I integrate technical drills with performance confidence building to keep your voice healthy. My approach relies on 13 years of stage work to keep you singing safely. I am here to help you find your healthy sound.
