About Lauren
My journey with singing began through a deep appreciation for live performance, songwriting, and emotional storytelling through voice. This passion inspired me to complete a Master’s Degree in Popular Music Vocal Studies, where I explored vocal techniques, artistic interpretation, and stage communication in greater depth. During the past 4 years, I have guided students from different musical backgrounds through lessons that feel encouraging, engaging, and creatively supportive.
I believe every learner deserves vocal training that matches their personality, confidence level, and musical interests. My teaching philosophy focuses on healthy vocal development, emotional expression, and confidence-building because every voice develops differently. Some students improve through structured exercises and repetition, while others gain confidence through interpretation and creative exploration. I carefully adapt lessons to create a supportive environment where learners feel consistently motivated.
Outside teaching, I continue exploring vocal styles, recording methods, and live performance traditions to keep my lessons meaningful and inspiring. Staying connected to music helps me bring artistic creativity and practical performance knowledge into lessons. I want students to improve not only vocally but also emotionally through stronger confidence and self-expression. Helping learners discover the beauty and individuality of their own voice remains one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching experience.

My singing lessons are designed to help students build healthy vocal habits while developing confidence in expressive performance. I teach breath support, vocal placement, phrasing, resonance, pitch accuracy, harmony, and emotional interpretation using methods that make learning feel supportive and manageable. Lessons focus on helping students understand how their voice naturally functions instead of depending on pressure or forced techniques. I create a welcoming atmosphere where learners feel comfortable exploring their voice and improving steadily through guided practice.
Each lesson is adjusted according to the learner’s confidence level, musical interests, and personal goals. Beginners receive patient support with vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, and rhythm awareness, while advanced learners strengthen vocal agility, expressive delivery, and stage presence. I include lyric analysis, listening tasks, harmony exercises, and performance preparation methods that help students improve naturally over time. Students preparing for auditions or performances receive additional support with confidence-building and vocal consistency.
I believe singing becomes more meaningful when students feel emotionally connected to the music they perform. My lessons aim to replace nervousness with confidence through patient encouragement and structured vocal development. Many learners gradually become more expressive, relaxed, and artistically confident as their understanding improves steadily. My goal is to help students build strong vocal foundations while developing creativity and emotional connection through music.
