About Autumn

Hello! I'm Autumn Rae, a vocalist and musician with over 15 years of training and experience. I'm a Berklee trained vocalist with a background spanning multiple styles including (but not limited to) rock, "pop", R&B, jazz, country, and musical theater. In my own professional vocal experience, I have had the privilege of performing at The Apollo Theater twice. I have also been recognized by names such as Jennifer Hudson, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lana Del Rey. I've been teaching music and performing arts for around 8 years now to age groups ranging from elementary schoolers to college students. I can't wait to meet you and help you learn how to take control of your voice!

About the lesson

My goal is to help you learn the proper tools and techniques necessary to create a healthy and sustainable sound. I'll cover topics such as proper breath control, vocal registration, vocal maintenance, and other ways to keep your voice nice and strong. My lessons will be centered around your goals and tailored to your needs so that you get as much as possible from every session.

My lessons are intended for beginner level vocalists of any age from six and up! A typical lesson will include a vocal health evaluation, a warm up, a repertoire run, a cool down, and prep to work towards the goal of the upcoming lesson.

During our first lesson, we'll begin by assessing your current vocal abilities, any past vocal training you may have, and discussing what you want to get out of our lessons. Then we'll do a brief warm up and begin choosing repertoire to work on for the next lesson!
