About Orla
I have 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance. My academic background includes vocal pedagogy, performance interpretation, breathing techniques, and music theory integration. This training allows me to guide students safely while promoting consistent and measurable vocal development.
I have trained beginners discovering their natural voice as well as experienced singers refining advanced techniques. I strongly believe that patience, disciplined practice, and positive encouragement are essential for vocal growth. My teaching style is supportive, structured, and focused on long-term vocal health and expressive improvement.
Teaching singing is deeply meaningful to me because it allows students to express emotions and stories through their unique voices. Helping learners build confidence and discover their vocal identity brings me immense satisfaction and motivates me to continue mentoring aspiring singers with dedication and professionalism.

My singing lessons focus on building strong breath support, vocal stability, pitch accuracy, tone clarity, and expressive communication. At the start of instruction, I assess posture alignment, breathing habits, vocal range, pitch control, and articulation clarity. Proper breath management is the foundation of healthy singing, so we begin with diaphragmatic breathing exercises, airflow control drills, and gentle warm-up routines to prepare the voice safely. I carefully explain how resonance placement, vowel shaping, and body alignment influence tone production.
As students progress, we work on range expansion, dynamic control, vibrato development, diction improvement, and stylistic interpretation. Repertoire is selected according to vocal type, comfort level, and performance goals. Each piece is studied in detail, focusing on phrasing, emotional connection, lyrical clarity, and expressive storytelling. I provide constructive corrections and structured repetition to ensure steady improvement and vocal health.
In advanced stages, I emphasize stage presence, microphone technique, performance confidence, and emotional delivery. Students learn how to connect with audiences, control nervous energy, and deliver expressive performances with clarity and strength. We practice simulated performance sessions to build consistency and self-assurance. My ultimate goal is to help singers develop healthy vocal habits, technical stability, and the confidence to perform with authenticity and emotional depth.
