About Livia
I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Studies, a Master of Music in Performance Practice, and a PhD in Vocal Arts. During the last 12 years, I have worked with singers of varying backgrounds and abilities, helping them unlock their potential through patient and personalized instruction. My fascination with the human voice began through performance experiences and continued through advanced musical study. Teaching allows me to combine artistic passion with meaningful mentorship. Supporting students remains one of the most fulfilling aspects of my professional life.
My teaching approach balances technical development with artistic exploration. I believe every voice has unique qualities that deserve careful attention and encouragement. Lessons are adapted to individual learning styles while maintaining clear goals for improvement. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them progress steadily while maintaining confidence. This creates a welcoming and productive learning environment.
Outside teaching, I enjoy studying vocal traditions, attending performances, and exploring music from different cultures. These experiences continually inspire my work and enrich the learning experience for my students. Watching learners gain confidence and achieve personal goals is deeply rewarding. I strive to create lessons that are motivating, thoughtful, and effective. My goal is to help students develop voices that reflect both skill and individuality.

My singing lessons focus on helping students develop a healthy, expressive, and confident voice through thoughtful and structured training. Learners work on breath support, vocal placement, resonance, phrasing, pitch accuracy, diction, and performance skills while building a deeper understanding of how their voices function. Lessons are designed to encourage self-discovery and personal growth, allowing students to explore their unique sound in a supportive environment. I combine practical exercises with creative exploration so that technical improvement feels connected to artistic expression.
Every student receives instruction tailored to individual goals and experience levels. Activities may include vocal journaling, visualization techniques, breath awareness exercises, song interpretation, confidence-building performance work, and vocal flexibility development. Students who seek greater emotional connection to music are encouraged to explore meaning and intention within their performances. Learners also receive practical guidance that helps them overcome challenges and strengthen confidence. Progress develops naturally through consistent effort and encouragement.
My goal is to help students build a strong relationship with their voice while enjoying the learning process. As confidence grows, learners become more comfortable expressing themselves through music. Lessons encourage creativity, self-awareness, and resilience. Every achievement contributes to lasting vocal growth. I want students to feel empowered every time they sing.
