About Emily
"Singing requires less physical effort than most people assume. I identify tension patterns early to ensure vocal health remains protected.
We utilise precise sight singing and diction exercises to sharpen your musicality. My 13 years of professional performance inform the way I manage stage fear.
Students receive homework vocal drills assigned after every session to guarantee steady progress. These routines solidify range extension and pitch control between meetings. Watching a student master a complex passage provides me with immense satisfaction."

"Technical clarity defines my approach. I hold an MMus in Vocal Performance from King's College London and the Royal Academy of Music.
My career spans 13 years performing with the Royal Philharmonic and diverse UK ensembles. I specialise in the Royal Northern College audition process.
Building a teaching practice allowed me to focus on classical technique and choral repertoire. My 13 years of teaching prioritise structural integrity in every singer. I work primarily with absolute beginners and adults seeking a firm foundation.
Self-taught vocalists benefit from the rigour I provide. Developing correct habits is the primary objective of my methodology. It is truly rewarding to witness students find their authentic voice."
