About Riya
I’m a trained vocalist and musician with a background in Popular Music Performance, Songwriting, and Jazz Harmony from BIMM London and the Global Music Institute (a Berklee partner). With over five years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about helping adult learners find their unique voice. I have a deep passion for music theory and composition, which I incorporate into my teaching to provide students with a strong musical foundation. I believe music education should be encouraging, open, and welcoming—a space where students feel safe to explore and develop their artistic identity. My goal is to share technical skills and musical knowledge in a way that inspires creativity and confidence, helping each student grow into their most authentic self as an artist.
