With over 9 years of experience as a singing tutor and a Graduate Certificate in Vocal Coaching, I specialise in helping voices heal, strengthen, and shine. My work focuses on vocal health and rehabilitation, offering support for those dealing with vocal fatigue, tension, or recovery from strain. I use safe vocal practices and gentle, effective exercises tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you're returning from a vocal injury or simply want to protect your voice, my approach emphasises long-term vocal care. I teach practical tools like breath management, resonance balancing, and vocal hygiene to keep your instrument functioning at its best. My lessons are rooted in awareness, patience, and respect for the body. I work with singers and speakers across many styles, including Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop. Each style is approached with care, precision, and healthy technique. My students include professional vocalists, public speakers, and those rebuilding their confidence after vocal issues. My teaching approach focuses on helping singers build a strong and reliable ear. I believe great singing starts with accurate listening, so we spend time training your ear to hear pitch, intervals, and harmonies clearly. Lessons include ear training exercises designed especially for singers—not just instrumentalists. You'll learn to identify intervals, match notes, and develop a deep sense of pitch awareness. I also guide students in harmonising with others and staying in tune while blending voices. These skills are key for group singing and ensemble work. We’ll practice harmony lines, pitch matching, and recognising chord tones by ear. I use fun call-and-response games, vocal layering, and real-world examples to make ear training musical and engaging. For singers preparing for advanced repertoire or group performances, I provide steady, focused feedback to sharpen intonation. My lessons are a mix of technique, listening, and real singing practice. I keep it motivating and clear, with room for creativity and personal growth. Together, we’ll train your ear to support your voice, so you can sing confidently in any musical setting. Whether solo or in a group, you'll sing in tune with ease—and enjoy every moment of it.
