About Joaquin
I am a professional pianist, music teacher, choir and orchestra director and singing teacher. 16 years of experience teaching small and large groups, I love teaching! I sang for 4 years in a Hungarian professional male choir and performed in prestigious places such as the National Auditorium of Argentina, embassies, cultural centers, etc. I was also a lead singer in rock, pop bands and solo projects. I have studied music for 25 years with various private teachers. I studied for 10 years at the Juan José Castro Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and some of my teachers were Nora Orbea (international piano concertist), Roberto Luvini (former director of the National Polyphonic Choir of Argentina) and Silvia Leydeman (choir Hungarian director) among others. I also teach guitar and piano. With my expertise and dedication, I'll help you unlock the full potential of your voice and achieve the results you desire. I offer a free video call of up to 15 minutes to discuss the approach and dynamics of the classes. Lessons for all ages and levels (can be combined with piano). My lessons are designed for beginners, intermediate and advanced, very much influenced by the Kodaly method (classical Hungarian academic pedagogy) and modern popular music, for those who are planning a professional career and want to get on stage one day, as well as for those who just want to sing karaoke with friends or even in the car or in the shower just for the pleasure of singing! I will help you to sing the style you like the most, it can be rock, jazz, opera, tango, pop, blues, etc. And if you want we will also see more technical and theoretical things like reading music scores, music theory, making second voices, harmonies, vocal improvisations, songwriting (lyrics and music) and complementary piano. In the classes we will focus mainly on: - Posture - Breathing technique - Range expansion - Warm up and care - Intonation - Interpretation and performance
