About Maya
I hold a Master’s degree in Vocal Performance and have 9 years of experience teaching singers at all levels. My teaching philosophy emphasizes combining technical skill with expressive artistry to create a supportive environment where students can explore their voice confidently. I work to help learners develop strong fundamentals while encouraging personal expression and musical growth.
I adapt lessons to each student’s goals and abilities. Beginners build a foundation in breath support, pitch, and tone; intermediate students refine phrasing, expression, and stylistic interpretation; advanced learners focus on repertoire mastery, improvisation, and performance readiness.
Guided exercises and performance coaching are integrated into all lessons. Outside of teaching, I perform regularly, study new repertoire, and engage with vocal pedagogy research to enhance my approach. Helping students build skill, confidence, and expressive freedom remains the most rewarding aspect of my career.

My singing lessons aim to nurture both technical mastery and artistic expression. Students practice breath support, tone, phrasing, diction, dynamics, and stage presence through exercises, repertoire, improvisation, and guided listening. Lessons are interactive, encouraging creativity, emotional connection, and confidence. I focus on building healthy vocal habits and helping learners explore their unique voice while improving technical accuracy and musicality.
Lessons are designed to match each student’s skill level. Beginners focus on breath control, pitch recognition, tone production, and simple melodies. Intermediate learners refine phrasing, vibrato, expressive tone, and interpretive skills. Advanced learners tackle complex repertoire, stylistic nuance, improvisation, and performance preparation. Each session includes constructive feedback, demonstration, and interactive exercises to foster steady growth in technique, artistry, and confidence.
The goal of my singing lessons is to develop well-rounded performers capable of expressing emotion, connecting with audiences, and performing with technical precision. Students gain not only vocal skill but also interpretive insight and artistic freedom. Lessons combine disciplined practice with creative exploration to make singing both fulfilling and enjoyable.
