About Casey
I am Casey van Heerden, a 23-year-old vocalist, singer/songwriter. I’ve been singing since the age of 3. I’ve been a solo performer, vocal group and choral member for most of my life doing various genres of music. I am a past student of the prestigious University of Cape Town/South African College of Music where I did a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies. I’m currently featured on Nobuhle Ashanti’s debut album ‘Bait for Steps Forward’ where I’m under the name “Little Sunflower”.
Having a good and understanding vocal coach is necessary for you to progress and have confidence in your ability. From experience, having such a vocal coach pushed me to do better and reach past what I thought were my limits. I would like to pass on the knowledge that was given to me to help others improve and feel confident.
