About Alyson
I am a Melbourne based secondary teacher with years of experience teaching VCE Psychology, English & the Humanities.
I have worked across all year levels, and have TESOL & EAL experience.
I have tutored for many years whilst teaching also; I maintain access to current textbooks, practice exams and general content.
I hold both an Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree in Psychology, and am extremely interested in the field!

I pride myself on the strong rapport I build with many students, and generally work within a more constructivist approach.
I act as a guide for my students, and ensure they have the agency to direct their own learning where possible.
All people are unique in their needs and interests, and must be provided every opportunity to grow academically, emotionally and socially.
I hope to always provide a safe environment for all in my care, and aim to assist students in reaching their full potential.
