About Courtney
I’m a professional visual artist, designer, photographer, and creative director with a background in fashion design and marketing. Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I love helping other people discover their own creative voice.
My experience includes painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, fashion, upcycling, jewelry design, photography, and creative direction. I have also competed in the NAACP ACT-SO program in Painting, Sculpture, and Drawing.

I believe art lessons should be encouraging, expressive, and personalized—not intimidating. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a young artist who wants to strengthen your skills, or an adult who simply wants to become creative again, I’ll meet you where you are.
How My Lessons Work
Lessons are customized around each student’s interests, experience level, and goals. Depending on the student, we can work on:
* Drawing and sketching fundamentals
* Painting techniques
* Color theory and composition
* Mixed-media art
* Fashion-inspired illustration and design
* Creative projects for children and teens
* Developing your individual artistic style
* Portfolio development
* Creative confidence and overcoming artist’s block
* Upcycling and turning everyday materials into art
I especially enjoy helping students who feel like they “aren’t artistic.” You don’t have to already know how to draw to make meaningful art. Technique can be taught; creativity can be developed.
