About Carter
For 18 years, I have been teaching Piano to students of different ages and skill levels. My students include school children, college learners, and working professionals who want to improve their musical knowledge and performance skills.
My teaching philosophy focuses on communication, encouragement, and practical learning. I create a positive environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and developing confidence.
My classes include piano techniques, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, and finger exercises. I encourage students to understand the music they play and express themselves creatively.
Apart from Piano instruction, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These complementary subjects strengthen overall musicianship and help students become independent learners.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music while achieving steady progress. I am committed to making every lesson meaningful, enjoyable, and rewarding.

My teaching philosophy focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and continuous encouragement. I believe students make the best progress when they understand music clearly and enjoy every lesson. My classes are designed to suit each student's pace while building confidence and technical ability.
Students begin by learning posture, hand position, finger exercises, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. As their skills develop, they move on to scales, chords, arpeggios, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and stage preparation.
I explain every lesson through demonstrations, practical activities, and guided practice. Students are encouraged to ask questions, participate actively, and build regular practice habits. Regular reviews help students measure progress and stay motivated.
Students also explore classical, pop, devotional, film, and contemporary music while developing creativity through improvisation and accompaniment. These experiences improve confidence and musical expression.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, sight reading, music appreciation, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These additional lessons strengthen complete musicianship.
My objective is to create positive learning experiences that help students become skilled, confident, and expressive musicians.
