About Di
With over 15 years experience teaching Primary-aged students in Ontario, I am a highly-skilled and dynamic Literacy teacher. I hold a specialist certificate for Reading and Special Education, and have multiple years experience teaching Reading Recovery.
I have put my passion and expertise in teaching young children how to read and write into developing my virtual ‘Guided Reading and Writing Groups’. Rest assured, I care deeply about the progress and well-being of my students, and this is evident in all of my sessions.

If you're looking for high-quality reading/writing instruction for your child in SK-Gr 3, led by a highly-experienced Ontario teacher and Reading Specialist, then my virtual group reading/writing program may be right for your child!
Working virtually in small groups with other students with similar reading needs, your child will read appropriately levelled books, strengthen decoding skills, improve sight-word knowledge and practise their ability to hear and record sounds in words.
The sessions are engaging, motivating, and will almost certainly boost your child's confidence in themselves as a reader and writer. Best of all, they are very affordable.
