About Miranda

I began playing the viola in high school and four years later began studying at Juilliard. Because I began my studies as a teen, I remember all the struggles and joys of learning how to play an instrument from scratch. I am a recent graduate from the Juilliard School and was a proud recipient of the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship, which provided a full-tuition scholarship.

About the lesson

As a young violist, I will provide a safe and warm space for students to flourish. I believe that the best way to grow as a musician is to have a non-judgmental space to experiment and learn the proper techniques to play the viola. Whether you are looking for lessons that push you to a professional level of playing with rigorous technical and musical exercises or prefer to play the viola for fun, I am happy to meet you where you are to create a lesson plan and trajectory that will be most beneficial and fulfilling for you.
