About Chloe
With over 7 years of experience, I specialize in teaching violin to young beginners. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Historical Performance (Baroque Violin). My training influences my focus on musicality and expressive playing. I am dedicated to making music accessible and enjoyable for children.
I believe strong listening skills are essential from the very start. Ear training is woven into every lesson in a natural way. Children learn to recognize sounds, patterns, and rhythms through play. This builds a strong and confident musical foundation.
Storytelling is a key part of my teaching approach. Children connect with music through imaginative and engaging activities. Rhythm games and movement help them feel music physically. Simple melodies encourage early success and enjoyment.
My teaching is inspired by Suzuki and Kodály methods. I create a warm and supportive learning environment. Each child is encouraged to explore and grow at their own pace. Together, we make violin learning fun, creative, and full of joy.

My teaching focuses on helping students feel confident and in control of their violin playing. I combine technique with creativity. Vibrato is a key part of my lessons. I guide students to develop it naturally over time.
We explore the movement step by step. I help students release tension and find a relaxed motion. Then we work on speed and width control. This allows for a more flexible sound.
Students learn to listen and adjust their vibrato. We use simple melodies to practise this skill. Later, we apply it to more expressive music. This helps them play with feeling and intention.
I create a supportive and encouraging environment. I give consistent feedback to guide improvement. Students learn to trust their sound. My goal is to help them play with confidence and expressive vibrato.
