About Zoe
I completed a Master's in String Performance and have taught violin for 5 years. Working with students from different backgrounds has shown me the importance of adapting lessons to individual learning styles. Helping learners become confident musicians continues to be one of my greatest joys.
My teaching style is encouraging, practical, and student-focused. I guide learners through every challenge with patience while helping them build confidence through steady progress. Every lesson is planned around personal goals and musical development.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy chamber performances, studying violin repertoire, and exploring new educational approaches. These experiences help me bring creative ideas into every lesson. Watching students perform with confidence makes teaching deeply rewarding.

My violin lessons focus on creating strong technical foundations while making learning enjoyable and rewarding. Students practise posture, bow control, finger coordination, intonation, rhythm, tone production, shifting, vibrato, sight reading, musical phrasing, and performance preparation through clear step-by-step instruction. Every lesson encourages confidence and steady improvement.
Lessons include listening exercises, scale practice, technical studies, slow tempo training, performance coaching, and personalised guidance that supports each learner's progress. I explain every concept carefully so students understand how to practise effectively. Positive feedback helps learners stay motivated while developing reliable violin skills.
I want every student to feel confident and comfortable while playing the violin. Lessons encourage patience, creativity, and consistent practice that leads to lasting musical growth. Every class brings students closer to becoming expressive and independent musicians.
