About Marcella
Hi! I'm Marcella — a teacher, violinist, and (nearly) Veterinarian. I hold a degree from the Methodist University Center IPA (2019) and have been dedicated to Music Education since 2008, working with infants, children, youth, and adults.
In 2020, I launched my Mentorship Program in Music Education for arts and music teachers in mainstream schooling. I specialize in helping educators develop lesson plans aligned with National Curriculum Standards (BNCC - Brazil) and child development stages. My work also focuses on expanding pedagogical practices through the Montessori and Swanwick approaches, fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment.

I use a unique methodology rooted in Montessori and Swanwick pedagogies, allowing me to work with everyone from infants and toddlers to children, youth, and adults.
The recorder and piano are the cornerstones of my approach. I integrate them with other instruments based on each student's preferences to build the fundamental elements of music education.
For violin students (starting as early as age 3), our focus is on posture, musical literacy (reading and writing), and instrument practice from day one. I prioritize respecting each student's learning pace while refining the specific skills required for the instrument.
