About Elise
My interest in violin began when I first heard the instrument performed during a live music performance. I was inspired by the expressive sound and emotional depth of the violin. This curiosity encouraged me to pursue formal musical training and complete a Master’s Degree in Violin Studies.
For the past 7 years, I have guided students through their violin learning journey. Some learners begin with no musical background, while others want to improve their technique and performance confidence. My teaching style focuses on patience and helping students develop skills step by step.
Outside teaching, I enjoy practicing violin and exploring different classical compositions. I also study performance techniques to better understand how musicians express emotion through music. Teaching violin allows me to share my passion for music while helping students discover their own musical voice.

My violin lessons help students develop strong technique while enjoying the musical learning process. Beginners start by learning correct posture and how to hold the violin comfortably. I guide students through simple bowing exercises that help them produce a clear and steady sound. Early lessons also include rhythm practice and easy melodies that help learners understand how the instrument works.
As students gain confidence, lessons expand to include scale practice, finger placement exercises, and short musical compositions. I explain how bow movement and finger pressure influence pitch and tone quality. Students gradually learn to coordinate their left-hand finger placement with controlled bowing. These exercises help learners develop accuracy and musical awareness.
Learning violin requires patience and focused listening. I encourage students to practice slowly and carefully so they can improve tone quality and pitch accuracy. Over time, learners develop smoother bow control and stronger confidence while playing music. My goal is to help students enjoy violin learning while building reliable musical technique.
