About Bridie
I have been playing violin and piano since the age of 8. I started with recorder from an even younger age never wanted to stop!
My dream would be to play violin in a musical theatre pit. This is something I so often but is not my career. I am also extremely passionate about teaching.
Teaching is wonderful because I get to share my knowledge of my instruments, meet awesome people and learn from you also. Teaching opens my mind to new genres of music and techniques. I love seeing my students grow as musicians and feel great about themselves for the new skills they gain.

Having experienced a wide range of teachers myself, I choose to encourage and empower students to play with confidence.
I expect students to practice between lessons because without practice progression is very slow.
Typical length of lessons are 30-60 minutes depending on the students age, ability and stamina.
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in classical music majoring on the violin and have been teaching for 8 years. I have taught a wide range of ages from 4+ and put many students through exams with a very high success rate.
I look forward to getting to know you and discussing your goals!
