About Dana
I am a violin tutor with 11 years of experience and a Master of Music in Orchestral Violin Performance. I enjoy helping students build confidence through supportive teaching and carefully structured lessons.
My approach combines technical development with creative expression, allowing every learner to grow at a comfortable pace. I encourage students to enjoy learning while developing discipline and strong musical habits.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing orchestral concerts, studying historical violin compositions, and mentoring young musicians. These experiences bring valuable performance knowledge and inspiration into every lesson.

My violin lessons help students develop reliable technique while enjoying every stage of musical growth. We practice posture, bow control, finger placement, rhythm, scales, tone production, intonation, string crossings, and musical phrasing through carefully planned exercises and enjoyable repertoire. Every lesson encourages steady improvement in a calm learning environment.
As students progress, we work on vibrato, shifting, sight reading, ensemble performance, recital preparation, ear training, musical interpretation, and efficient practice methods. I provide thoughtful guidance that helps learners improve their confidence while developing expressive and accurate violin playing.
My goal is to help students become skilled violinists who perform with confidence and musical understanding. Every lesson develops technical strength, artistic expression, and lasting enjoyment of music.
