About Amara
My journey with violin began through early orchestral exposure and fascination with string instrument expression. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Violin Performance and Ensemble Studies. Over the past 8 years, I have guided students from beginner to advanced levels, helping them build strong technique and musical confidence.
I believe music education should be structured, patient, and encouraging. My teaching style focuses on clear explanation, step-by-step guidance, and consistent practice habits that help students improve naturally. I encourage students to stay curious and ask questions because learning becomes easier when they feel supported.
Outside teaching, I enjoy chamber music collaboration, orchestral performance, and studying classical repertoire. Staying connected to music helps me bring real artistic insight into lessons. Teaching violin is deeply fulfilling because I enjoy helping students grow into confident musicians. My goal is to support every learner in discovering both discipline and expressive freedom.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical accuracy while building expressive musical confidence through structured practice. I teach posture, bow control, intonation, rhythm precision, sight reading, and phrasing in a calm environment where learners can improve steadily. Students learn how disciplined practice improves both control and emotional expression over time. Every lesson is designed to feel supportive and clear.
Lessons are adapted according to each learner’s level and musical goals. Beginners focus on open string exercises, basic finger placement, rhythm training, and simple melodies, while advanced learners work on vibrato, shifting positions, advanced bowing techniques, and performance preparation. I include slow practice, ear training, and repetition drills because consistent focus improves accuracy and confidence effectively. Students receive supportive feedback that helps them improve without stress or confusion.
I aim to create a reassuring space where students feel safe expressing themselves through music. Many learners struggle with tension or performance anxiety, so I focus on gradual progress through patience and structured goals. Over time, students develop better tone, control, and expressive ability. Violin becomes more meaningful when learners connect deeply with their sound.
