About Demi
My journey with the violin began when I first heard the instrument performed in a live orchestra. The expressive sound and emotional depth of the violin inspired me to begin learning the instrument. As my interest grew, I decided to study music seriously and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance where I learned technique, music theory, and ensemble performance.
Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students who wanted to learn violin at different stages of their musical journey. Some students begin with no previous experience, while others want to improve their technique and musical expression. I believe learning music should be both structured and encouraging so students stay motivated.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing violin and exploring different styles of music. I enjoy studying musical compositions and improving my own playing technique. Helping students develop musical skill and confidence is one of the most fulfilling parts of my work as a violin teacher.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop strong technical foundations while enjoying the process of learning music. Beginners start with posture, bow hold, and finger placement. These early skills are important because they help students produce a clear and stable tone. I guide learners through simple exercises using open strings and basic melodies. These exercises help students coordinate their left and right hands while understanding how sound is produced on the violin.
As students improve, lessons include scales, rhythm practice, and longer musical pieces. I explain how bow pressure, speed, and direction influence tone quality. Students also learn how dynamics and phrasing create musical expression. These skills help them move beyond basic playing and begin developing a more expressive style.
Learning violin requires patience and regular practice. I encourage students to focus on steady progress and consistent practice habits. Over time, learners gain better finger accuracy and smoother bow control. My goal is to help students feel confident while playing the violin and enjoy their musical development.
