About Liana
My interest in violin began when I first heard a live violin performance and became fascinated by the expressive sound of the instrument. I wanted to understand how musicians create such emotional music using only a bow and strings. This curiosity inspired me to study violin seriously and eventually complete a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance.
For the past 9 years, I have guided students who want to learn violin for artistic development and musical enjoyment. Some learners are beginners exploring the instrument for the first time, while others want to refine their technique and sound quality. I focus on patient teaching and clear explanations so students feel encouraged during their learning process.
Outside teaching, I enjoy practicing violin pieces and studying different styles of classical music. I also explore musical interpretation to better understand how performers bring emotion into their music. Helping students discover the beauty of violin playing is one of the most rewarding parts of my teaching journey.

My violin lessons focus on helping students develop a strong foundation in posture, bow movement, and tone production. Beginners begin by learning how to hold the violin correctly and control the bow with steady movement. I guide students through simple exercises that help them produce clear sound and understand how the instrument responds to different bow techniques. These early lessons help learners feel comfortable while building essential playing habits.
As students progress, lessons include scale practice, rhythm exercises, and short musical pieces that develop finger accuracy. I explain how intonation, bow pressure, and timing influence musical quality. Students gradually learn how to move smoothly between notes while maintaining clear tone. These activities help strengthen coordination between the left hand and bow movement.
Learning violin requires patience and steady practice. I encourage students to focus on consistent improvement and careful listening during practice. Over time, learners develop stronger control over tone and pitch. My goal is to help students enjoy the violin while building confidence in their musical ability and performance skills.
