About Alycia
BMus Guitar Performance from Manhattan School of Music provides my foundation for teaching string mechanics. My work focuses on shifting positions and double stops with extreme precision.
I have helped 243 students refine their intonation and tone production over 13 years of experience. Spiccato and staccato bowing need careful focus.

Diagnostic assessment happens before we set any practice plan during our first meeting. You arrive with your instrument and we listen to the current state of your tone production. Developing clear intonation requires a methodical approach to shifting positions and double stops. Precision matters.
We spend time on spiccato and staccato bowing to ensure your sound remains crisp. My degree informs how I explain complex physical movements on the violin. Feel free to ask me any questions about my teaching process.
