About Michelle
I currently work as an evening news editor where I am tasked with taking all kinds of media from social media, raw footage, audience members, and international outlets to create compelling stories, visuals, and breaking news. In my free time, I still volunteer with other passionate filmmakers who are creating unique stories that aren't reined in by studio systems and bring non-traditional voices to your local independent theaters.

I come from a post production background meaning I am one of the few who put the last bits of polish and details into the finished work. With that knowledge I have helped students avoid costly mistakes and problems by providing them detailed knowledge of how to not only fix mistakes, but how to better plan your productions to create a more elevated finished piece without having to, "fix it in post." My goal is to give students the confidence that they can bring their projects from idea to finished piece. They will be able to recognize when a little creative problem solving can save a production and their budget.
