About Victoria
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have worked as an actor in theatre, TV, film and radio for 10 years and have applied this to my teaching experience. I have worked in the following drama schools: ALRA, Bristol Old Vic, Mountview Theatre Academy, Fourth Monkey, Central School of Speech and Drama and the International School of Screen Acting. I have also coached actors for television production companies, as well as being part of the voice team on the RSC's Matilda the Musical in the West End.
I enjoy using the same skills to coach non-actors to best develop their communication skills. I have worked with teachers, politicians, doctors, bankers and civil servants to encourage them to access their full potential when communicating.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
I do not have a DBS certificate.
- Where and with whom did you train?
I trained with Patsy Rodenburg and Jeannette Nelson at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
At Central, I trained with Katerina Moraitis, Joe Windley, Tara McAllister-Viel, Cicely, Berry, Kristin Linklater, Barbara Houseman, Mel Churcher, Gilly Anne Keyes, Frankie Armstrong and Christina Shewell.
I continue to further my professional development attending workshops and courses. Recently I attended the Fitzmaurice Conference and am currently attending courses on Voice and Estill with Anne-Marie Speed.
- Do you belong to any professional organisations?
VASTA, British Voice Association (BVA)
