About Carmen
Singing requires a disciplined approach to bridge technical precision with genuine artistic expression. You deserve a mentor who understands that consistent growth stems from established habits and focused work. Since childhood, my life has centered on the craft of performance. I earned my Artist Diploma in Music Performance at the Curtis Institute of Music.
This classical foundation informs the technical rigor I apply to every lesson. I work comfortably with performance-focused students, hobbyists, self-taught players, and absolute beginners. I love the clarity that comes from finding one's unique vocal identity. Building technique is fun.

Starting your first session involves identifying your natural range and current vocal habits. You can expect a structured environment where we break down complex mechanics into manageable steps. We will focus on vibrato control, head and chest voice, pitch control, and microphone technique.
Proper warm up exercises and breathing control are essential to my curriculum. I integrate tone and resonance work alongside sight singing exercises to build your performance confidence. Homework vocal drills are assigned after every session to ensure steady progress between our meetings.
I emphasize clarity and steady improvement over rushed results. Watching you gain control over your instrument is quite enjoyable.
