About Diane
I had 35 very happy and successful years within mainstream schools and in my last role I was also part of the leadership team as year 6 lead teacher and English subject leader. I have an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum and can plan resources to enthuse and excite learners.

I am a fully qualified and very experienced primary school teacher and have had success with tutoring since taking early retirement from the classroom in 2017.
I believe that children should enjoy learning and always try to make lessons fun and engaging, matching resources to the child’s interests where possible.
The typical length of a lesson depends on the child, but 30 or 60 minutes are the most common.
I am happy to work with children aged between 6 and 11 years and I can adapt resources to suit any ability level.

Details
An hour’s lesson is £25, half an hour is £12.50. I am also happy to teach same-age children in small groups. Please ask for rates if you are interested in this.
