About Jane

I am a very experienced, organised and creative UK-qualified English teacher and have taught within both UK state and independent sectors as well as offering one-to-one tutoring either face to face or online. I have served as Head of Faculty in an independent school and am also an examiner for AQA GCSE English Language and Literature. I know just what is needed to achieve the grade you want. I have a total of 25 years' teaching experience and therefore excellent subject knowledge of teaching KS3, GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature. I am very flexible in my approach to teaching and work in a child-centred way, adapting my teaching to whatever style of learning suits the learner best. I aim to make my lessons absorbing and fun and choose material to work with that will interest the student I am teaching. My aim is to give you the best opportunity to achieve the highest grade possible and my experience and passion for English Language and Literature has proven this to be the case. About the lesson

English teacher in West Sussex. I currently tutor a number of students both online and face to face. I adapt my teaching style to suit all of my students. With over 25 years teaching experience in classroom settings and privately I can quickly assess areas for improvement. I make my lessons fun and enjoyable and have had great success with all of my students.
