About Maya

Hello! I’m Maya, a dedicated tutor with a diverse educational background and a passion for helping students meet their individualized learning goals. My journey includes attending trade school, community college, university, and graduate school, which has equipped me with a broad perspective on education and the unique needs of students at all levels. Along with my academic experiences, I have a strong teaching background, including serving as a Supplemental Instructor for undergraduate business students, working as a substitute teacher, tutoring, conducting research, and even nannying. These experiences have helped me develop the adaptability and communication skills needed to support students in a variety of settings. About the lesson

As a tutor, I understand that each student has a unique way of learning, and I am committed to tailoring my lessons to meet their specific needs. Together, we will create a learning plan that focuses on building both understanding and confidence in subjects ranging from math and science to communication arts and social studies.
