About Violet
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 6 years of experience and approximately 150 students successfully guided. I teach learners of all levels and focus on step-by-step development to ensure lasting progress.
My lessons begin with strengthening breath support, posture alignment, and embouchure control before advancing to articulation exercises, scale practice, rhythm training, and performance pieces. I believe that consistency and structured practice are the keys to improvement. I create customised lesson plans that align with each student’s goals, whether for exams, competitions, or personal growth.
My unique ability is identifying technical weaknesses quickly and designing focused exercises to correct them. I maintain patience and encouragement in every class, helping students build both skill and confidence. My aim is to nurture disciplined, expressive, and dedicated flute musicians.

My flute teaching methodology combines structured technical training with creative musical freedom. I adapt lessons according to the student’s learning style, pace, and goals, fostering both skill and musicality.
Lessons start with posture, breath control, embouchure, and tone quality. I then introduce finger exercises, scales, rhythm drills, and articulation practice, gradually progressing to advanced techniques and expressive phrasing.
I integrate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm comprehension to provide a holistic understanding of music. Students learn to connect technical exercises with musical expression.
Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons for beginners, intermediate learners, and advanced students. Collaboration is encouraged through open discussions, shared repertoire, and goal-setting.
I maintain a positive, encouraging environment where students feel motivated to grow. My aim is to nurture confident, skilled, and expressive flute players who enjoy a lifelong musical journey.
