About Agnes
I have over 12 years of experience teaching Guitar to college students, and my teaching style is supportive, inspiring, and tailored to each student’s needs. I aim to help students develop both technical skills and a genuine love for music.
My lessons include a mix of practical exercises, improvisation, song practice, and simplified music theory. I also incorporate innovative tools like backing tracks, recording exercises, and interactive apps to make learning fun and effective.
In the past 12 years, I’ve helped students gain confidence, improve their technique, and perform confidently. I focus on creating an environment where students feel motivated, explore creativity, and develop their own unique musical identity.

I teach guitar with a methodology built on creativity, mentorship, critical thinking, and accountability. I focus on helping students explore music their way—experimenting with chords, discovering genres, and creating original compositions. This approach strengthens both technical skills and personal expression.
As a mentor, I provide guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback, helping students overcome challenges and build confidence. Critical thinking is integrated into lessons by teaching students to analyse songs, understand music theory practically, and solve problems independently.
Accountability is a core part of my approach. Together, we set achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones. Lessons combine practice, exercises, and creative projects tailored to each student’s interests.
In addition to guitar, I teach music theory, improvisation, and composition. My goal is to nurture confident, creative, and independent musicians who enjoy learning and expressing themselves through music.
