About John
Music is a wonderful way to express creativity, and I enjoy helping students discover that through guitar. I have 6 years of experience teaching guitar to high school students, college learners, and adults, and I have successfully taught around 300 students.
My teaching philosophy is based on encouragement, patience, and structured learning. I believe anyone can learn guitar when lessons are clear and practice is consistent.
During my lessons, students learn important skills such as basic chords, rhythm exercises, strumming patterns, finger techniques, and simple music theory. These fundamentals help students become confident guitar players.
I also encourage students to practise regularly and learn songs they enjoy, which makes learning more interesting and motivating.
Teaching hundreds of students has given me valuable experience in guiding beginners and helping them overcome common challenges.
Many of my students have progressed enough to perform at school and college events, which is always inspiring to see.
My goal is to help students develop strong guitar skills and a lifelong love for music.

My Guitar teaching methodology focuses on clear explanations, practical exercises, and adapting lessons to suit each student’s learning style. I believe students learn best when lessons are simple, structured, and connected to real music.
In my classes, students learn essential techniques such as chords, strumming patterns, rhythm exercises, scale practice, and finger coordination.
These basics help build a strong foundation for playing the instrument. I guide students step by step and encourage them to practise regularly to improve their skills. I also use real-life musical examples from songs and performances to help students understand how Guitar techniques are applied in real music.
In addition to Guitar lessons, I introduce related subjects such as music theory, ear training, rhythm development, improvisation basics, and songwriting. These topics help students develop well-rounded musical abilities.
