About Amelie
With 9 years of teaching experience and over 300 students taught, I specialize in flute lessons for high school, college students, and adults. I believe that every student has a unique learning style, and I adapt my teaching to suit individual goals and pace.
My lessons combine technique, music theory, and performance practice to provide a comprehensive learning experience. I emphasize creativity and self-expression alongside fundamentals such as tone, rhythm, and technique. Many of my students have performed in recitals, school events, and competitions, marking milestones that showcase their progress.
My aim is to make learning the flute a rewarding and enjoyable experience, helping students build skill, confidence, and a lifelong passion for music.

My flute teaching methodology is learner-centered and practical. I believe strong communication and flexible teaching help students progress smoothly.
I explain flute basics such as posture, breath management, finger technique, articulation, tone production, and rhythm in easy language. I encourage open discussion so students can share difficulties and progress openly.
I use real-life musical examples and case studies to demonstrate how flute techniques are used in real performances. This helps students apply their learning with confidence.
Along with flute lessons, I teach music theory, ear training, rhythm exercises, scale practice, basic improvisation, and performance preparation. I also help students develop consistent practice habits and stage confidence.
