About Kaia
As a committed flute tutor with 12 years of teaching experience and nearly 150 trained students, I focus on delivering high-quality and personalized music education. I work with learners at all levels, ensuring steady progress through structured lessons.
My teaching covers breath support, tone clarity, articulation control, finger precision, scale practice, and rhythm accuracy. Alongside technical skills, I guide students in understanding musical interpretation and performance confidence. I believe that positive reinforcement and accountability together create meaningful improvement.
My strongest quality is my calm and motivating teaching approach, which helps students overcome challenges confidently. I strive to create a respectful and inspiring learning atmosphere where students feel supported in their journey.

My flute teaching methodology emphasizes stepwise mastery, adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I focus on building technical skills first, gradually introducing expressive elements as students progress.
Lessons begin with posture, breath control, embouchure, and tone production. Finger exercises, scales, articulation drills, and rhythm practice follow. Students then develop expressive techniques including dynamics, phrasing, and musical interpretation.
Alongside practical lessons, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and rhythm comprehension. This integrated approach ensures that students develop technical precision and a strong understanding of music.
Flexibility allows me to adjust lessons based on goals, level, and learning pace. Collaboration is encouraged through discussions, repertoire selection, and goal-setting.
I maintain a positive environment that motivates students to practice, explore, and improve. My goal is to develop confident, expressive, and disciplined flute musicians.
