About Diya

Hi! I'm someone who loves learning and meeting new people!

In my free time, you'll usually find me going on hikes, exploring new cafés or spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling and trying new experiences.

I'm a patient and approachable person who enjoys helping others and celebrating their achievements, no matter how big or small. I believe that kindness, encouragement and a good sense of humor can make any learning experience more enjoyable.

I'm excited to get to know each of my students and help them build confidence while reaching their goals!

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs and goals. Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand concepts step by step and develop problem-solving skills they can use independently. My lessons are interactive, supportive and encouraging, creating a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

For Primary English and Math, I help students strengthen foundational skills through engaging activities/practice and clear explanations. Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, numeracy or homework, I aim to make learning enjoyable while building confidence.

For VCE Psychology and General Mathematics, I focus on breaking down difficult concepts and helping students apply their knowledge to SAC and exam-style questions. I also provide revision support and tips to maximize performance.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student's needs.

My lessons are suitable for:

Primary English and Mathematics (Prep-Year 6)
VCE Psychology (Units 1-4)
VCE General Mathematics (Units 1-4)

My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident, independent learners who enjoy the learning process.
