Vastly Experienced and Dedicated Violin Teacher - Violin tutor with Aritra

Aritra has a very friendly and patience way of teaching. My 6 year old son started lessons with him with no prior music knowledge or experience, but through hes informative and detailed approach my y year old learnt so much in just a month. He answered every question I've asked with clarity and with an awareness of where I was asking from as a beginner. highly recommend!!

Aritra is a very good teacher and I would highly recommend. He assessed my level and we spoke about what I want to achieve. He has a high emphasis on technique and getting the basics correct which allows me to progress rapidly. He is friendly, explains things clearly and sets homework.

He is passionate about teaching, the violin, and music, while also being highly competent. So long as you put in the practice outside of lessons then you'll get a lot of value from Aritra's lessons

We were looking for a violin teacher for our 8 year old and found Aritra on a website with great feedback. We met with him and from Day 1 he has been absolutely brilliant. He is very professional, focussed both on short term and longer term lesson objectives and is extremely detailed in his lesson plans and follow up notes. He is very patient, firm but fun and our son adores him. He pushes for high performance in a steady but non pressurising way for our son. We have seen a complete shift in the level of technique, quality of playing and love for music in our son. Aritra is very passionate about is music, has his own studio and performs with international artists. I would very strongly recommend him as a violin teach for any age.

I am so pleased to have found Aritra to be my daughter's (age 10) violin tutor. We were immediately impressed with his teaching style and structured approach. He is a highly dedicated and committed tutor, resulting in my daughter achieving two distinctions (abrsm grade 3 and grade 4) within this year and now has jumped to learning grade 6 violin. He is patient and articulates well making it is easy for my daughter to understand.

As someone who has started to learn at the age of 23, I thought I might struggle more than kids who learn from a young age, but Aritra has really taken the time to explain the basics. He also ensures that when you practice and get things wrong, that he goes back and helps you correct it. This way I have been able to prevent forming bad habits at an early stage and I'm really happy with my progress with Aritra. I look forward to many more lessons with him in the future and gaining from his experience as a violinist and teacher.

Within 5 years Aritra took my daughter from an average grade 2 player to a obtain a distinction at grade 8 at the age of 12. Always polite, reliable and flexible, he showed an genuine interest in her progress and that has allowed her to succeed and also nurture a genuine love of music.

Since the first connection with Aritra, I have been impressed with the energy he brings to the subject. He has been able to encourage and build enthusiasm in my children (11 and 8). They are encouraged and yet kept in good discipline to further their learning. The level of tuition is high and systematic. He is flexible in his timings to meet an accommodating time.
