About Cristina

¡Hola! My name is Cristina. I am a qualified MFL teacher looking for students to learn Spanish around Leeds or remotely. I am a dynamic and motivating Secondary School teacher. I love teaching Spanish and I have delivered lessons for different purposes: school, university, DELE, hobby/interest, travelling. I have been private tutoring students for ten years, and I became an official teacher in 2018. As a private tutor, I focus on my students' needs and create a system that works for them, allowing to see results in a short period of time. I also find resources of interest for them. Learning needs to be attractive. My degree is English Studies, and I have a Master's Degree in English Teaching as a Second Language. Spanish is my mother tongue and I have studied English since I was a child. I studied French at high school and university, and lived in France for a year. I also studied Classic Arabic and I am able to follow easy conversations. I am familiar with English and American Literature, as well as English Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis or Syntax, among others.
