I use my knowledge of the discipline to expose my students to modes of critical thinking, encourage them to analyze, apply, synthesize, and evaluate all they read and hear. I inculcate self-learning.

Debnath Pyne Sir (famously 'DP Sir' to us) taught us Accountancy and Business Organization & Management in our +2 level around a decade earlier, in 2012-13 while he was teaching at South Point High School, Kolkata.

Sir's impeccable knowledge on all subjects and extremely affable and approachable nature is something that stood out and endeared him to us, his students at SPHS. We would eagerly look forward to his classes and immerse ourselves in the stream of knowledge that used to flow in each of his lectures. All in all, a very good and ideal teacher without the slightest doubt!

Debnath Sir is one of the finest commerce teacher one can come across. His vast experience over last 20-25 years is an asset for any academic institution. His unique way of teaching and ability to make the subject easy for the students is something to look out for. Any student getting his guidance at the most important juncture of their life will only make them a better human being and a person with strong base in commerce.

Debnath Sir laid the foundation of Accountancy and Commerce for me in high school. If it wasn’t for his teaching that made accountancy a fun and interesting subject, I would have not dared to pursue a career in Audit and Finance with higher studies like ACCA & CFA. He has an unconventional way of teaching where he employs the use of case studies for understanding purposes, which helped me a lot in my professional qualification courses as well as my time in both KPMG as an Audit Associate and JPMorgan Chase as an Investment Product Specialist.

I have really blessed and fortunate to have Debnath Sir as my teacher. I am proudly indebted to Sir for his guidance, motivation and helping me to evolve as a human being with values. Best Regards.
